There's an old expression in the North East that people quote when a passing bird craps all over your head, "shit for luck" is referenced which basically means its lucky to have a bird shit on your head, I have my doubts but you should never question these old wives.Imagine my suprise then when, at Andy and Deborah's wedding at the weekend I managed to capture this moment (above) on camera - their carriage driver enacting the geordie expression "shit for luck".
I was shocked.
