Self-importance, round two...

Remember this fool from February ?

He rang again this week, I'm sure its him, I hope its him because there cannot surely be two such self obsessed dumbfooks on the planet.

He wants me to go to his office and talk about a product he wants to buy from us and this time I've agreed because I want to see what he looks like - I'm going Friday.

I predict that he will be quite tall, balding if not bald, smartly attired in suit and Wallace and Grommitt tie and will sit me down on the other side of his desk as if doing me the biggest favour in the world.

For my part I will instantly offer him the impression that I don't give a flying fook about his business or his requirements and I guarantee that by the time I leave his office he will have lost his temper with me.

I'm really looking forward to Friday.

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Try this! Pre-arrange a phone call for mid meeting. When your mobile rings look at the caller and say, with a serious expression, "I'm sorry, I really must take this," and then proceed with 5 mins of lovey dovey, precious schnuckums type conversation (or dirty talk - whichever you feel comfortable with). When you hang up look at him and deadpan, "This guy plays hardball with negotiations..."

I think I'm going to go for the business suit, laptop in a bag approach, firm handshake, earnest look, we-want-your-business exhaltations, then sit and listen to him for half an hour, nodding head in an eager way, while he blathers on about his plans and requirements for the contract that he hasn't got yet, self promotion and head in arseness filling the room...

...then after half an hour look at watch and say "I'm sorry I don't think we can help you" get up and walk out.

Just wondering if eBay makes it possible for you to market concert tickets on the web? Do you know if you will find any restrictions based on what country you are in?

My parents have just referred to as me and asked if i could "get rid" of their two tickets to some concert as they wont be able to make it because of one more family event.

Apart from asking pals etc, i thought ebay would be a great place to market them.

But whats ebay's policy on selling tickets? Ive heard alot about it for the news but ive forgotten what happened.

and if it matters, the concert is within this coming month

Thanks ahead of time for your advice.
